KRUDER AND DORFMEISTER

From 2017 to 2020, we had the privilege of embarking on a global tour with the eminent pioneers of chill-out and our youth idols, Kruder & Dorfmeister, as part of their 25th-anniversary shows. Our approach involved incorporating minimalistic visuals, enhancing K&D’s performance by visualizing their set on point and constructing an interesting tension arc over the span of 3 hours. The footsteps we followed were significant, given that Fritz Fitzke, the renowned VJ, had crafted visuals for K&D in the 90s and the early 2000s. The challenge lay in paying homage to Fritz while maintaining our distinctive style and contemporary approach.

For the show we have combined generative real-time content with classic, old school video loops to create a unique set of visual imagery.
